How are absences handled?

Attendance at all performances, practices, and class sessions is required.

Absences from class are handled through the school attendance or magnet office.

If a member needs to be absent from an after-school or weekend practice or a performance due to illness, it is best to inform us directly.This can be done by:

• calling the music room at 818-769-8510 extension 305
• informing another student and have them give us a message
• email one of the directors

If a student knows in advance they will miss an after-school or weekend practice or a performance, they should fill out the following form, get the required signatures, and present it to one of the directors.
