Unanimous Superior & Swing Night Info!

Congrats to all our students on a series of outstanding performances! For the sixth year in a row, both Band & Orchestra received Unanimous Superior ratings at the Van Nuys Music Festival! The next day, the Drumline placed 2nd at the DAC Championships and took home the sweepstakes award for highest combined marching score of the season. Congrats to all on a sensational weekend!





 NHHS Swing Night Information!

All performers and patrons enter through the Main Gate on Radford Avenue. Don’t forget your ID! A photo ID is required for every attendee at the gate. Tell security you are here for the “North Hollywood High Swing Night” and they will direct you where to park. From there, it is a short walk to Carla’s Cafe.

Schedule:

2:00 – Call time for Jazz Band students (NHHS Music Room)

2:30 – Begin setting up at CBS Studios
4:00 – Sound Check
5:30 – Doors open – Carla’s Cafe at CBS Studios!
6:00 – Taco Bar Opens
6:30 – Band Begins playing! 
9:00 – Estimated end time
9:15 – Jazz Band packs up & moves equipment back to NHHS
