Spring 2020!

Our spring semester is off to a great start and we’re excited to get back to work! My sincerest apologies for not posting sooner. It always takes a while before I fully recover from Marching Band season! First off I would like to congratulate all the students who participated in the LAUSD All City Honor Marching Band. In addition to marching in the Rose Parade, they are back again today marching in the Martin Luther King Jr Parade. Kudos also go to Karine Avetisyan for marching in the Rose Parade Band & Daniel Wijedasa for playing Bari Sax in the All-Southern Honor Jazz Band. Finally, I would like to welcome our Student-Teacher, Elana Gitterman to our instructional team. She helped us a bit last semester but is now working full time assisting with instruction in all our music classes!

Spring 2020 Schedule

Please download the tentative spring schedule available for families! Check the dates and plan accordingly to minimize scheduling conflicts. Please inform me of any conflicts ASAP. Realize our after school practice schedule is a bit different. With exception to students in Indoor Drumline and on Dance Team, students are only required to attend one after school practice per week. Students in Orchestra may choose to be in an additional brass or woodwind choir in order to help their fellow students.
